Hilarious remarks during my trip to Canada/New York!

I was in Canada and New York during the second half of may. Meeting new people and telling them that I was a foreigner led to the following questions and reactions:

#Amsterdam? Oh-My-Gawddddd (batting his eyes with hand on his chest), isn’t that in Germany? I wanna go there…

So, you live in Amsterdam huh? Is that far from Holland?

What will you do when you’re in New York? Visit Miami?

Now, I thought these questions were hilarious, especially because of the way these people sound when asking them. But then again, we learn from each other, right?
