Former Chicago Cubs superstar Mark Grace was arrested for drunk driving

According to the police report, obtained by TMZ, cops observed Grace in his 2009 Jaguar weaving in and out of his lane around 1 AM on May 30. Once officers pulled him over, cops say Grace -- who had a female passenger in the car -- admitted to "having a few drinks."

Rangers select paralyzed Georgia player in 33rd round

The Rangers will be admired across the whole country, really, after they used their 33rd-round selection in MLB's amateur draft to select Bulldogs junior outfielder Johnathan Taylor on Wednesday afternoon.

Normally that wouldn't be very newsworthy, but Taylor is paralyzed from the waist down and confined to a wheelchair after a tragic on-field collision with teammate Zach Cone in early March.

A-Rod and Diaz Are Finished

The hot romance of the professional athlete and movie star has ended, with A-Rod dumping Diaz. Cameron will i'm sure be OK but for right now is said to be hurt by the breakup.

The story was revealed by celebrity blogger Perez Hilton and he is quoting a source as saying:

"They've broken up. [Cameron is] hurt and betrayed, because she tried so hard to please him. … She went overboard."

Barry Bonds' generous gift to Bryan Stow

Bonds is going to pay for Stow's children to go to college, when they are of age of course. Its reported that Bonds made the offer back in April while meeting with the Stow's in the hospital. It would have likely remained a secret except that the Stow family attorney, Thomas Girardi let the cat out of the bag.

I can't think of a nicer thing Bonds could have done. The man spent most of his career as a selfish, self absorbed jerk- but you can't hate on this move.

Wrong Guy Arrested for Giants Fan's Beating?

Giovanni Ramirez was arrested Sunday for allegedly beating Giants' fan Bryan Stow so badly on opening day, he suffered brain damage.

Ramirez' lawyer, Chip Matthews, tells TMZ he has three witnesses who will testify that Ramirez was not even at the game that day but rather at his L.A. apartment.
