RumorFix ruins a rumor we all hoped was true. Too good to be true.
RumorFix has learned that contrary to reports, the comedian is not planning on launching a new show; on Thursday, a website called The Daily, wrongly claimed that Chapelle was:
"Dave Chappelle is back, bitches!
Chappelle's talent agent tells RumorFix exclusively that the rumor is false, and the comedian's publicist also tells Entertainment Weekly the report is “absolutely untrue.”

Dave Chappelle is said to be working on a show for a subscription service.

The beloved comic is planning a new TV show with a paid subscription service like Netflix, Sony’s Crackle, or Hulu, which are now competing in the original programming game, a plugged-in source told Flash.
“Dave Chappelle’s going back to TV,” tattled our insider. “It’s not for a network. It’s for Netflix or Crackle or some other subscription service.”
