Is Two and a Half Men killing of Charlie's Character?

Its rumored that they will use the final episode of last season to segway into this season. The final episode had Charlie leaving on a plane...so naturally it will be a plane crash right? maybe but it sounds as if they have another idea- while a plane crash is the obvious way out, producers don't want to take that route because they don't want to make the other passengers sacrificial lambs, even if they are just fictional characters.

Kutcher only has one year deal fro Two and a Half Men

The Wall Street Journal is reporting- The actor, in his 30s, has signed only a one-year deal to appear on the show, according to people familiar with the situation.

That’s partially because CBS has licensed the show for only an additional year, according to these people. If CBS renews the show for a second year, then Warner Bros., a unit of Time Warner Inc., could renew Mr. Kutcher for another season or are free to find another actor. Mr. Kutcher, for his part, could also bow out.
